Les Houston

Fuel Gas Licensing

 Les brings 20 years of industry experience in the retail propane and oil industry to Advanced Trade School.  In the last five years, he has been teaching Gas Licensing Courses, Continuing Education, and OSHA Construction.

​

     He has been active in various trade associations including the National Propane Gas Association, the Propane Gas Association of New England, and the Oil Heat Council of New Hampshire.

 

     Les has been a licensed Proctor and Instructor for the Certified Employee Training Program through Industrial Training Services and the Propane Education and Research Council for over 20 years.

 

     He has also taught Hunter Education for the State of New Hampshire for over 17 years.

 Prior to entering the energy industry, Les served as a United States Marine for nearly 10 years, resigning as a Captain.

​

     His education includes a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and US History from Norwich University.

Adam Houston

Adam Houston is a welding professional with 30 years of industry experience as well as a successful business owner in the trade.  As an instructor for the past 7 years, Adam has developed a curriculum for welding processes including OXY/Acetylene welding, SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.  Graduates from his welding program are able to secure entry-level employment even at the high school level. Students have won the Skills USA welding Fabrication Gold and Silver Medals and the Welding Sculpture Gold and Silver medals.

Adam has held x-ray certifications in various metals and welding processes.  He has performed pressure vessel inspections and is currently an AWS Certified Welding Inspector
